I'm lookin for some short levers. I saw the post on levers and checked out the pazzo's, but dang they are expensive. Anyone know of some short levers that aren't $200? |

just take a hacksaw and some sandpaper to your stockers. great results, but you'll need a new pair if you wanna take it on the track (gotta have the ball on the end for puncture issues) |

Matt, Back in the day, ball end levers were required for racing but they simply were unavailable from any manufacturer that I knew of, or maybe they were too expensive. I don't recall. In any event, what we did was to file the end of the lever into a more or less round profile. Then we would thread the lever and screw on some brass balls of the kind that were used to trim lighting fixtures. Bought them at the hardware store. They looked kind of cool actually.
