W-O-W. They should put that on DVD. Is Erik INTO this stuff, or what? The guy's enthusiasm comes through LOUD and CLEAR.

Holy crap- that makes me want to go out and buy another Buell right now.

Every time I see or read something like this I wish I would have had the nerve to have bought one of his bikes back in the formative years when he could have really used the money. Instead I just kept ridding the FXR. Oh well

Thanks for sharing this ... great stuff. With Erik's genuine "from the heart" enthusiasm and devotion to his projects, it makes me even more proud to be riding a bike with his name on it.

Thank you for the links.

I have done a ton of research on Erik, starting back in '89 when I saw my first Buell, and this further justifies my passion for his motorcycles.

Absolutely fascinating.

BRAVO!

Can you imagine any other motorcycle maker having the connection to Us- the "regular guy" like Buell?

A regular guy that is hard core as is the designer?

Really cool indeed!

I wonder if Soichiro Honda was like this- only on polite Asian circles? Regardless, this video is positive proof we are riding the coolest bikes that many others (mainstreamers) don't get- ALL THE BETTER!!

Thanks again for the posting

. . . and he is every bit as passionate about it today as he was in 1984. Each and every one of those hundreds of drawings he spent all night on . . . . just picking one up he'll launch into what the problem was, what his idea was, how he was going to solve it and how motorcycling would be better.

Time has increased, not diminished his enthusiasm.
