You can get bad service anywhere.
I'm an ASE Master Tech too. The fact that a trainee was working on the bike means nothing. The kid f@#ked up and tried to cover it up. You mean to tell me you never did that. Also I can't tell you how many times customers say we scratched their car. We as a dealer take care of it most of the time just to make the customer happy even though we did'nt do it. The kid was probably to scared to say anything. I'm also sure that the best tech there is'nt going to change a tire anyways.

Well I got most the paint off my old plastics as im going to repaint them another color and sell them.I am planning on putting the stock plastics on the bike when/if I sell it.I stripped and repainted my fairing support bracket.I soldered my 1125R mirror wires where they where cut.while its apart I am going to paint the case and the timming cover black.I havent heard nothing new from harley and am not expecting to.

The bottom line is I got screwed and there's not a whole lot I could do about it other than repair my bike so I can ride.

Im usually a very nice guy but I dont deal well with people who act like they are above me so I revert to my old self. That just goes to show you the old saying "dont take my kindness for a weakness"

Let's see. Hmm, the choice is a) wait for HD to answer or b) face time for assault charges.

Which one will a) leave me time to ride my bike and b) leave me money to ride my bike?

Success is the best revenge. I'd wait for HD.

Can someone tell me the what the ORIGINAL problem was? I confess I'm overwhelmed with work and graduation but as I try to scan all the last 7 pages I find lots of opinions about HD, opinions about Buell but nothing, if I were trying to deliver a solution, that would be "actionable".

If all we are doing here is trying to establish a group consensus that bad dealers suck, are bad for HD, are bad for Buell and tend to divert owners to other brands for goodness sake count me in.

I've yet to read anything here that I couldn't solve in 20 minutes. . . . It must be my age. . . . I'm missing something.

My bad. . . . I had ENTIRELY missed the ACTUAL QUESTION in all this confusion.

quote:

I just need the customer service/comlaint/help 800 number for harley davidson AND buell I know ive seen it here before but was unable to find in search.

ANSWER: Buell Customer Service: 1-414-343-8400

See . . . . that's what happens on the internet. Guy asks a simple question and before long it's a firestorm.

OK I solved my problem and now I feel MUCH better.enough said.

I am going to be putting new custom paint on some plastics from house of kolor and will be having a new thread soon with a pole question to see what colors people think would look best to help me decide.

Edited post above so as to protect the innocent.
