I used to know why HD doesn't put a cutoff switch on the kickstand, but I am so old I forgot. Maybe it has something to do with thinking that motorcycles are dangerous vehicles and if you are going to ride them you ought to be paying attention to what you are doing. Nope, that's not it. Maybe I'll remember one day. Gotta go change my depends. | ||

Haha I have no problem remembering and yes motorcycles are dangerous but do you not wear a helmet because of that logic? Cars can kill, do you not wear your seat belt for that reason? Somebody lost their life because they had a brain fart, we all do, and forgot to put the kickstand down. Lets not kid about it... Everybody forgets things, when its potentially life threatening I think a simple device that costs them a dollar to make is worth it. | ||

wow...this thread is WAY off topic, went from removing the cheese grater to 'why doesn't Buell put the kill switch on the kickstand anymore' thread. From what i've read in the past on here, '03 was the only year put the kill switch on the kickstand, ever since they have left it off, but correct me if i'm wrong. | ||

If you think of clever ways to bring stuff up, then i dont think biff would have a problem with it. Say a thread called "Save a guys life through his kickstand" and then in the thread itself start talking about it and bringing it up then. Your young, just got out of high school, you should be able to slick talk your way around these guys, just think of them as your old teachers.....just teachers of Buellism | ||

Haha I suppose that would work but I am going to try and stay out of making so many threads for now  ... Your right though talking about this here was not the best place but it was my thread to begin with  ... And actually still in HS... Have a year to go! Buellism... wish they offered that class over here! Actually thats what my computer science class consists of, surfing Bad Weather while the teacher lectures, doesnt usually help when it comes time to practice but it sure is better then note taking . | ||

Biff, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you call him Jrice cause he makes a lot of references to his Jap Rice R6 he had? That was the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the name. Beef, is he right on the rice reference? Yes, and Yes. Japanese bikes / cars often referred to as rice burners. The fact our boy Jordan talks about his R6 all the time + his name is Jraice. Remove the "a" and you get Jrice. Glad someone here picked up on it. Edit: by the way, I am 26. not as old as you might have thought. but when I first started visiting forums (when I was around your age) I got my balls busted for acting like a tool, and asking stoopid questions. I have been ghosting this forum for years, and every 3-6 months someone gets irked and moans about someone asking questions that others already did and will...from their high horse...demand people use the search function/ask "better" questions/post less/etc. Maybe some people do post a bunch or ask questions we have heard before but as far as I have EVER seen these people are asking the question for the FIRST time for them. Maybe it annoys some of you but again, if you don't like the topic, don't read it and quit acting as the posting police. There are no stupid questions just arrogant people who seem to think just because THEY know the answer or have seen the question asked and answered someone else should know better than to ask. How about anyone who wants to tell everyone what they shouldn't post use the search function about how often this stupid argument comes up. If you can't manage to hold back your superiority then at the very least be polite and speak for yourself...you don't speak for all of us on Badweb. Some of us like seeing a question asked more than once since every time you get some new answers you didn't before, and some interesting conversations about Buells between people who like and ride them. | ||

I looked on you tube and there is every other kind of tail chop, honda Duc, ect. But nothing found for Buell. I swear I saw a video somewheres. And btw I think it's cool to see some kids, boys, sons, former ricers (j/k Jordan) into Buells. They are the future of Buell sales. | ||

he didn't get 'chewed out' I pointed out the fact he asked the same question(s) multiple times, and half of the answers (if not 90%) could have been found through the self help feature known as SEARCHING. it isn't personal against our boy Jordan. I don't know him any different from some other guy on the street. It is a life lesson from spending time on forums. Sometimes a kid will need some guidance. hell, in many walks of life, I am still a kid who needs my butt kicked from time to time from a person with more knowledge. if everyone is so sensitive for calling out a guy, maybe you should pull the sheets back over your heads, and wait for obama to bring on the change. | ||
