Please dont laugh if this is a rediculous question but, does the bike come with a tool kit free of charge? I was never shown one at the dealer or given one. Is it hiding under the seat or stored someplace else on the bike?

I have a tool set for my own maintenance but $#$@ happens on the road, plus I want to check/play with suspension changes and need the spanner for rear pre-load.

It should come with one. It is in a small zipped up pouch. It is in the tail on the Firebolts or Under the seat on the other models. It has a C spanner for the shock adjustment and a few other bits and pieces.

Mine was delivered without one. I had to ask for it.

My XB12Ss had it under the seat... kind of wedged in front or below the battery I think.

It's crammed right at the bottom of the battery in a small zippered pouch.

Thanks guys, sounds like I need to check under the seat and if not, go bug the dealer.

This has been superseded several times and is now sold as C2024.1AS.

The current retail price is $28.95.

There are no stupid questions only inquisitive idiots. But the tool kit should be under your seat.

I have supplemented mine with a T-27 bit and a 1/4" box-socket to act as a ratchet wrench substitute.
