Are you trying to sell that kit, or do you have personal experience with it?

My guess is he posted it with the subject of "To protect all your....uh....paint" Because uh what paint is there to protect.

He probably thought it was obvious and did not want to elaborate.

But then I could only be guessing?

The plastic parts scratch a lot easier than paint would, but I don't think I would want to laminate my plastics, might look like crap. Anybody use this?

I have that kit for my firebolt. Not the easiest to install, but the fairing is the hardest part, so lightning owners might not struggle as much. I bought a new fairing a while back - normal road debris left small nicks and marks all over it. When I changed colors and got another new fairing, I wasn't taking any chances and installed the kit. Also, no other tank protector looks as clean or offers as much coverage. I had a bit of a problem with their customer service, but that's another issue that's not related to the product itself.

This looks kinda like that invisabra stuff you can get for cars. Guy i know had it on his Porsche 911. If its the same stuff than it good. You can barely tell its there and it does a good job protecting your "paint"

You can see the line where the film ends on the tank. Also where the film stops short of the mirror 'bulge' on the fairing.

Get Klasse sealant Glaze. This stuff yellows over time and is a PITA to put on. Not that the Klasse is easier, but its a glaze you can remove and reapply. A lot cheaper with better results than the invisible bra.

I bought the three pc kit for the air box to keep it from getting scratched about two years ago from this place. Its just about as invisible as you can get.I would buy it again.
Mine hasnt yellowed and you can remove this and reapply it without a problem. I didnt think it was that difficult to install on my XB12S air box.
I could see where it might be on the Firebolt fairing

I used the tank kit. It was great, although the kit I had didn't require anything but water to install.

This one requires adhesive. I'd prefer one that didn't.

The film is adhesive backed, but no separate adhesive is needed or called for. You just need water and denatured alcohol to install it.
