Check the clips in the link below is the best sounding one I've heard. I don't think it is the loudest of them all. But personally, It's the sweetest sounding.

The D&D is the loudest one, I can confirm from hearing one in person. It is just stupidly loud across the entire power band, to the point you will get pulled over for it.

If you want loud then you want a Force exhaust. I have heard 90% of the exhausts for an XB and the Force is by far the loudest.

I think Force is one of the few I haven't heard, and also it wasn't in the shootout so it slipped past my mind. You want sound quality, not quantity. Get a Drummer or Micron, they sound the best. : )

I have never seen one, but I have heard that there is another really loud racing system called Beson.

Slaughter knows about them.

I dont want open exhaust I want a pipe that sounds mean and is pretty loud nothing crazy but loud yes, I love the v twins with a good slip on, if i get a slip on does the ocmputer need to get tuned as well? Is it worth changing it at all I dont want any problems, also the tank cover is black how hard is it to convert it to the orange clear looking cover, I like that look. Im new to the buells so bare with me. Hot rod cars now Im ok with that

1988 Mustang GT triple black 5 speed convertibel vortech supercharged edlebrock intake etc etc 14psi

1991 mustang gt 347 stroker 5 speed aluminum heads big cam nitrous etc etc

1987 olds442 496 BBC stroker with a blower : )

and they all have sweat sounding exhaust, why shouldnt my motorcycle be the same?

so out of all the slip ons which is the best bang/sound for the buck?

Yes and No. Its not necessary but I couldn't stand the extra popping on decel. $50 for a ECMspy cable and do it yourself.

Takes about 5 minutes, with 3 of those minutes being used to find your Torx 27 screwdriver.

Loud does not mean sweet. There are plenty of nice sounding exhausts that aren't much louder than stock.

1+ the Jardine rt1 . I just repacked mine at 5K mi.because after a day of riding my ears would ring for the next 8 hrs. There is almost nothing inside the can except a very open 2" baffle

The Beson IS gonna be very loud. It used to be THE racepipe for power. Problem is that it is too loud to be used on ANY racetrack that has noise controls.

Don't know how well it runs without re-mapping.

Hogs here on Badweb has one for sale - you can look him up.

Otherwise, for LOUD, the Force is a window-shattering loud LOUD LOUD pipe... but ONLY get a later model - with the spring connectors in mid-header. Earlier single-piece headers were prone to cracking.

I'd be careful about being TOO loud in public, we have a bad enough rep as it is.

Jardine is very loud. The nice thing about it is if it's too loud, they make a silencer insert. I ran with the insert on mine, really liked it.

^+1 and if it's a concern the service from kdfab is top-notch. I've heard the same for spec-ops.

i've seen the Jardine for as low as $289 on ebay, for the aluminum version.

check youtube for videos.

my Jardine is loud but i think it needs a repacking. i'm gonna try some stainless packing material this spring.
i've had HD guys ask me if i changed cams. it really has a sweet 'lope' at idle.
