i was looking in my buell catalogue and found the air box trim. My air box is starting to get a little scuffed from my jacket/pants. I was wondering if anyone has bought or used it? What are your thoughts on it on a white bike.

I like it, but check out American Sport Bike's Carbon Fiber Tank Protector... it would look good on a white or blue bike.

IMHO.

$40 vs. $80, don't care how good it looks, that's rediculous for that small piece of carbon fiber.

Got it, love it, need another one when I get the black bodywork. Very first day I had it, it saved me a nice big scratch in the airbox cover (scratched the aluminum pretty damned good!).

Thining about having the next one powder-coated to match the rest of the stuff on the bike.

The gut protector is a great addition to your bike. Shame they don't make anything for the tubers, hint, hint BuellMoCo.

I love mine, but be careful putting it on. If you push too hard with your thumb it will dent real easy.

That happened to me, dented it putting it on.
But it was a small dent, just covered it up with that carbon fiber look-alike sticker sheet.
Outlined the oval and pegasus. Looks pretty good.
At least thats what I'm told.

I just got mine today, I haven't installed it yet. It appears to be a very nice piece. Has anyone tried using it with the Buell tankbag?
