Just curious as to how and where you all keep your license registration, insurance cards and other information on your bikes. I have an xb9sx and as you all know there isnt much room under the seat. So far i have been just keeping everything in my wallet, hoping i dont get pulled over and realize I forgot my wallet. Any ideas or different methods of doing this? Thanks! |

Is you reg and insurance card so big that it cant be placed in a plastic bag and taped to the underside of the seat? Or placed under the seat for that matter. |

I put mine in a heavy plastic zip-lock bag and put it under the battery retaining strap. |

Right now, in a zip lock under the seat on the R. Will be going to either a stick on shipping envelope for under the seat or a waterproof canister. |

I keep mine folded up in my wallet behind my license. It's a bit bulky right now with 2 bikes stuff in there! |

Document holder in tail bag . . . I **want** the time it takes to get to it to allow me time to get my helmet off (a helmet intimidates an Officer) and to "build a relationship" with whoever is pulling me over. I have nearly a perfect record . . save the 3X in a single day in Ohio. . . for talking my way, and my riding partners way, out of ticket. |

In my wallet that is chained to my belt! Don't laugh, but it just hit me that the wallet chained to the belt has a purpose! To keep your wallet from falling out of your pocket while riding your motorcycle. I never really thought about it before, just thought it was a fashion statement like chaps. After a few 40 degree rides into work, I now see the usefulness of chaps. |

And the uselessness at the part that matters... I have had a chain wallet since before I started riding on the road. Saved me from time when it has fallen out of my pocket accidentally. |

I keep it in a zip lock bag in my coat pocket. I never ride without my jacket, so there is no chance of forgetting it. |

""Don't laugh, but it just hit me that the wallet chained to the belt has a purpose! To keep your wallet from falling out of your pocket while riding your motorcycle."" EXACTLY the reason I bought the wallet. I used to ride some pretty high performance bikes with friends. A few of them have lost their wallets on high speed runs in the past. Hence the chained wallet now!

Assuming that the retrieval of your registration and insurance card, you could use the lable pack from UPS and stick it under the seat pan. |

I used to keep it under the seat. Now with soft bags on the bike I keep it in a ziplock bag in my jacket. |
