I did a search and didn't find much chatter on the GPR stabilizer. Is anyone using it on a Lightning? I'd like to see some pics if possible..

I remember the last time this came up someone chimed in and said they had one and that it was a solid product -- there was a pic around here as well.

The GPR stabilizers are a neat product. I don't have one or know how well they work, but I'd rather have that thing on top of my bars than a cylinder attached to my forks, for aesthetics obviously.

I don't think that they make one for an XB.

Ignored the link didnt ya : )

The major plus to the GPR stabilizers is the on the fly adjustments you can make. Since it sits right there on top of the top tripple, its pretty simple to reach.

I agree the concept and look of it are great. The price sucks but they seem to be the only company developing this style of damper for us Buellers. My concern is the only pics I could find anywhere showed it mounted dead center at the handle bars with the counter action anchored at the front airbox screws.. I am hoping I stumbled on to a pic from one of their preliminary designs and that they have found a way to anchor to a more sturdy point for their production model. Also I'd like to see how it might work out with my Precision Engineering riser and Pro Taper bars.

Well it won't work on a lightning so that sucks.

It is similar to their dirtbike damper, much slimmer, and designed to fit between the bar clamps.

It would cover up my 25th Anniversary badge, but it sure would be a nice addition. GPR is top-shelf stuff.

I tried to order one for my lighting about 4 or 5 months ago. Received a call from the sales department after the order went through.
They told me that the lightning damper is still in the design stage and would give me a call when they're ready for purchase. Said it would only be around a month or so. Still haven't heard from them. I even sent an email trying to find out an ETA but they didn't even respond.
I sure wish I knew what was taking so long. I'd really like to buy one.
