Ya know, really, this is like saying a Cagiva is now an Aprilia (which its NOT). I have nothing against Harley's, but this bike is a Buell through and through. Its got creativity, ingenuity, and no frills performance everywhere you look. These are all things that have defined Buells since Erik's first production bike.

Let's see, half-dome helmet, what looks like Gucci loafers on his feet, street legal bike while the bikes in the background are track bikes, and a dufflebag bungied to the passenger seat. Perhaps he's disgusted with the "Sturgis Raceway" sign in the background. Or just maybe he's disgusted because Dyna got a ride on the back of the CBXB instead of him????? There is that winkie he added, so it's probably the pic of the Dyna-pillion doin' him in.

I was just thinking about every bike that has put Buell on the radar, and how he's made engines work by making the power as usable as possible, but mostly making the chassis un-beatable. The one area where he hasn't pulled his magic yet is in the powerplant. I have a feeling thats going to be the next piece of Buell magic.

Its like the RR1000, the engine was alright, it was REALLY heavy, but he made a chassis that made that bike a competitor. That trend has continued. He still makes the best chassis' out there, but the engine is still the lacking point. so to reiterate my point, I think he's gonna do his magic with the engine next go round, which combined with his chassis' will whoop just about anything around. Thats my speculation anyway

Chaps are so useless, they only make you look like your in the band "WhiteSnake" or "Poison"

Get a thick pair of Leather pants for Full protection..

I want even go into tassles right now...

Good thing it's only the fringes that are gay since otherwise Aaron might be looking for new gear.

Chaps are so useless

Between that post & the one where you claim locking up the rear brake around corners is fun & relatively safe, do you have a clue?

Ever see anyone get in an accident with chaps & see how much protection they afford? I have. Myself & the wife had our 50mph+ get off last year & we were wearing chaps...no fringe of course. Not 1 damn mark on our legs. The leather was stressed from where we hit the ground & tumbled, but they held up great. Not 1 damn thing wrong with chaps except your homophoic fears.

Not to mention protection from the cold, they keep my legs very warm, I'd freeze without mine !!

Agreeing with Dyna again !!

Thanks CJ, I actually forgot about the cold weather protection.

BTW, chaps are only gay if you are a guy & wear them with a thong

Wait... That's when they're NOT Gay Dyna. If you're doing that then you're most likely on a stage with women throwing money at you (and no men watching).

I think the fringes would still be useless though, and probably even gay.

I like my chaps.

For certain rides and weather they are more practical than leathers.

Hell, maybe I'll put some fringe on my leathers and push him right over the edge.

I love my fringeless Chaps,

I actually picked them up in Milwaukee while I was attending the Buell 20th.

The leather is thick too and they are lined, I wore them all the way back to Newfoundland as I just could not put back on my Ballistic Joe Rocket Pants.

CJ is damm right they offer just enough cold weather protection and when it gets real cold I break out the Ballistic Nylon Gear. Until then my Chaps are staying.

HOWEVER, I recently acquired a pair of Belstaff Leather Bike pants which are very comfortable so they are my new favorite - now I got to buy the matching jacket.
