I've a big problem and I'm desperate for a solution. I'm hoping there's someone out there with a big heart, and an XB9 ECM. After a fall, my ECM has broken at the connector. It has broken at the PC Board, no way to fix it. This means I'm transportationless. I also happen to be jobless as well. I've a few part time gigs, and projects, but they are sporadic at best these days. I need an ECM to keep things going, as I've given up the truck for now, and haven't even gotten a tag for it, can't afford the gas anyway. All this brings me to my desperate attempt at finding an XB9 ECM. I'm thinking it doesn't matter the year, as EMCSpy will take care of the details. Is there anyone out there with an ECM they can live without? There's not much in it for you other than I'll pay shipping, as I don't have much more than that now. You will however get great Karma, and I'll forever be in your debt. Or if you'd like I'll send money a little bit at a time if we can work something out. Help me, please... | ||

This thread brings a tear to my eye..... I love the generosity...with that being said, anybody have a spare big bore kit laying around... Really though, it is comforting to know nice people still remain in this world. I like Treadmarks rendition on Hondas slogan because it is so accurate. Glitch: when the ECM arrives, pop that sucker in and go for a RIDE. Troubles be gone, at least temporarily. | ||

Wow, I'm touched. Really. I worked with Shred today, I'm his part time labor monkey. I posted this morning before I left for work, and really was expecting this thread to either be buried with no reply, or flamed. Don't know why either, maybe just figured it would be my luck they're as hard to find as the Buell Race can or something. So I log on after a hard day's work to find that the BadWeB Community has come through. No big deal, either, only eight ECMs! Y'all are the best. what ever ecm you get. i'll even help you set it to your bike. we can re-tune it to get the maxium fuel. what ever ecm you get i can make it tuned to your bike. i can make the xb 12 ecms to run a xb9 data with out any issues. as long as you get me the txt file i'll set your ecm data. you just need to get someone to let you use there ecmspy in your area. i'll hook you up. gather any ecm you can i can make it work. mike mike | ||
