So, what did she get?
Was it because of the oil leak?
I didn't think she'd get rid of the Blast, or did she.
Congrats. And no more excuses, you have to be at the B-Trax at Suburban with the new toy in a couple weeks. ;)

Mikej, I'll be there but NO WAY will I do it and take a chance on dropping that spanking new, Black XB9S Low !!!

But I appreciate how much effort Daves went to get me the bike I wanted, in the color I wanted, and I think he'll tell you he had to work HARD to make me happy and he Did it !!!

Wasn't an easy sell for him, so I appreciate his effort !!!

Right about now I'm picturing a dart board at Uke's with Dave's picture on it. ;)

CJ,
If you'd timed it right you could have flown down to Tilleys and rode home on your new bike with Charlotte.

Oh, don't get me wrong, not ragging on Uke's (except for getting charged $3.50 for two slices of bread with some tuna spooned onto them, and for me for paying the price 'cause I was hungry, but in all fairness I could have just gone down the road for a burger too).
(Oh, I could also rag on other dealerships for raising soda prices from $1.00 to $1.75 during the 100th event as well, but I won't, much anyway.)

I do wonder though if they even notice or care about the lost sales.

I did read in a local business journal that Milwaukee Harley has changed ownership in August. Should be interesting to see what happens there now relative to Buells since it was a Harley executive that bought the shop.

Keep crankin' those sales Dave, and Bubba, and others.

Bubba, I MEANT selling the BIKE for heaven's sakes !!!!

Char, I'm for sure planning a trip up to see you soon !! We need to hang out some !!

As for Uke's I bought my Blast there and I'm always there buying something, and would NOT hesitate to tell someone to buy from them !!!! I LOVED my Blast !!

I just hadn't considered actually getting another one now, wanted to wait until next spring and Dave's by virtue of hanging around kept talking to me until he finally had me convinced ! Had I personally known someone at Uke's to be around all the time talking to me, could have happened with them too !

And I especially LOVE the BRAG members at Uke's, they ROCK !! And Brew City too !!!

I see you noticed that $1.75 deal too. Blew my mind.

Still cheaper than any of the events, some folks wanted $3 for a 20 oz. I told more than 1 vendor they were nutz & should be arrested for robbery.

I am sure some could think of a few things!!!

So Dyna,

Would that Harley make it this far east?

Then again if you come this far your gonna need a helmet too!!!

Bubba,

I don't become frozen in ice and snow for at least another 2 months or could be 2 weeks, who knows around here, unitl then the weather is nice and cool around 65-70 in the days the nights are cooler (which is always fun with the right gal) so it always makes for perfect riding weather.

As for CJ a big Congratulations on the XB your gonna look great on that thang and hope to see you over here next year with the other Buellers that are coming to visit my island.

Dana,
Drop me your address as I owe you some Screech the golden elixer of the Newfie Gods

I really wish I had the camera to get the look on Spidey's Face when he shot the screech straight up. That was funny.

Doug is going to go pick up the XB9S Low from the other (alleged) Buell dealer this afternoon for you CJ.
We'll have Reece do the set up and have it ready for you to pick up when you get here.
Thanks again for the business, it means a lot to me!

Way to go CJM! I traded my beloved Blast (after thumping 2.5 years) for the XB9S last December and only looked back a couple of times.

From my seat the Blast was the rough draft for the XB's. But these days I worry more about the law taking a liking to my riding... :]

Glad I'm not the first one then Prof, don't think the law will be watching me for a while, I'm going to have to adjust to the bike first !!

Eventually though, it will be as easy as the Blast !!
