Wow, I didn't even see this thread until now and my name was even mentioned earlier. I was at St. Paul HD today checking out a black XB12S. Sweet! Just looking though, not buying!

I posted pics on the quick board part.
What a lousy day weather wise. Rained for the first 4.5 hrs out there & then the last 30 minutes was clear. And then it rained the whole way home.
Nobody rode..too damn wet. But Dave & myself got CJ's bike loaded up all safe & sound in the truck.
Hopefully tomorrow will be nice so she can get some miles on. |

Well, I got my BEAUTIFUL XB9S Lightning back in Milwaukee, actually Racine as it's still on the truck, too dark, too tired to unload !!
Got home around 11:30, Daves said don't get lost as we were leaving, but yep you guessed it, we took the long scenic route AGAIN and not intentionally!!
Sure had a lot of vehicles pass us real slow on the ride home, trying to get a glimpse of the bike !!
Big Thank You to Nancy for going with me and taking the truck to pick up my bike !! The rain was disgusting and we never even got 30 minutes of a break from it, I so wanted to take it for a ride, but keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow !!
Thanks to Dyna for being there, making me laugh, and loading my bike and getting pics, although I haven't gone to see yet what he posted and that's scary !! LOL

Its 3:50 am in Ottawa and I HAVE to be in North Sydney, Nova Scotia which is sixteen hunderd kilometers away by 11:30pm tonight.
I am getting on the road this early so I DON'T have to Speed.
However, I did somewhat find out yesterday that the care can pull in excess of 190kph with top down when I made a feeble attempt to chase down an Audi A4 with a 3.0litre motor as it passed me.
At the time the top was down and I was grinning. |

Funny you should mention the speed limit CJ.
I left Ottawa, Ontario at 4:15am on September 14th and would have been in North Sydney, Nova Scotia by 9:30pm later the same day about 17hrs later.
Now the speed limit through Quebec, New Brunswick and parts of Nova Scotia is only 100kph (62mph). So we stopped for breaks and to gas up for about 3 hrs total making that run in about 14hrs total driving time. That would leave an average speed of 114kph.
Was some damm fun especially when I blew through a radar trap when the fine looking lady cop could not get her finger on the gun fast enough before I slowed down. I looked right into her eyes when I passed and could tell she was pissed. |
