Misato, Force notified us today that a bunch of pipes were going out, being drop shipped directly to our customers. Call Justin tomorrow to confirm that yours was one of them. I apologize for the delay, this is still a relatively new & hot product and Force is working hard to meet demand and get to the point where we can ship from inventory. It'll happen. Thank you for your business.

MIsato, I was getting impatient myself. But it will get there. When it does arrive you'll be glad you waited! I'm so used to the sound it doesn't seem loud anymore. My neighbor is the custom builder for choppers.com and my little Buell is louder than some(most) of the custom bikes he brings home.

Misato, I can't get a good picture of it mounted without taking a bunch of things apart. It was placed under the seat to the back. When you get it installed up and running, don't do what I did at 2300 in the evening and buzz up and down your street, your neighbors aren't gonna be happy. But who cares, you will be impressed. Enjoy! Post the pics!

holly shit it is LOUD
looks great. I'm having the TPS reset tomorrow.
something might be wrong, it seems to have lost a little power. the PC3 seems to be on, the leds move with the throttle.
these things come preloaded with the right map right?
maybe someone can email me the map so I can make sure its in there. I'll see how it rides after the TPS is reset.
need sleep

Misato..Scooter from ATC is running his Force pipe with the baffle. Without one he said it felt like the plugs wantedto load up & foul.

Aaron, have you guys had any issues with the front mounts breaking on the Force pipes?

so how the hell does the baffle go in? it doesn't slide on enough to drill holes and put the bolts through. must have to pound it on then drill?

yeah, I had to pound it on, then drill it.
it does run better with that thing in.
If I have a bunch of holes cut in the airbox do I need to tweak the map at all?
on the PC the low,mid and high LED's are all at the zero point. does the map not change the LED position rich/lean ??

having the TPS reset did nothing, at least that I could feel.

If you are going to cut a hole in the airbox, cut a BIG one!
A couple of pieces of double stick tape, and a piece of foam to take up the space between the cleaner and Airbox cover to hold it in place.
On the dyno it lost less than one-half horse compared to no cleaner at all.

I like the black pipe with black paint.
I can't answer you questions about tweaking the map. I didn't put the modified airbox on until it was being dyno-tuned at Nallins'.

HI guys I put the D&D exhaust on the 12r, big differance sound like a buell and goes like hell,
put the k&n air cleaner removed the snorkle no ecm yet,the bike runs great lots of power at low end and just pulllllls like crazy, top gear with my friend on a gxr 750 at 70m I just pull away till 130 then he comes buy me, he is starting to like the bike . Let him ride the bike he was very impressed with the pulling power.
next week I am installing the new C I A tank cover , removed the 12 air box and put on a 9 with hole cut in it. I will put it on the Dyno when I can,I will try blocking off the air intake thru the frame try to get cold air in the cover not hot air over the engine and see if it is any better.
lots of thanks to dave and your parts bad when have to call Iowa HD when I live in ft lauderdale. to get parts Quick,

Has anybody cut holes (or other shapes) in the Tank Cover and made it look OK? Whats the best method of cutting Surlyn without getting ragged edges?

I suppose if I screw it up, I can always buy the Force unit - but not too crazy about the look of their holes.

It pulls great, but remember, I have the Nallin 1050 kit/Stage 2 heads.
I average about 15 horse better than stock from 3K to redline. (I'm up here at 5000 feet + in the Rockies, so I would probably see more down on the flatlands)
Torque peaks at 70 between 4K and 4.5K, but it never drops below 62 from 3.5k to redline.

Hey Dave,
How much to have the K&N filter shipped to Colorado. I live in Gunnison 81230. The closest Harley/Buell shop is 2 hrs away and they don't have one anyway. BTW, I need the total price for the cleaner and shipping. Thanks, Morgan

Hey Misato,
This is morgan, the other guy that polished his seat frame and hacked off the fender. I think I remember you having a clear lens for your tail light. Where did you get that, I am looking for one. Thanks,

Morgan

I got it here:

http://www.claussstudios.com/

They list them on ebay all the time for the firebolts (same as 9S)

you'll need a LED too. the first one I got was from the local good guys store, then I ordered a 1 1/2 from custom dynamics and its MUCH brighter. you'll have to modify the tail light for it to fit.

Misato,
Thanks for the info. I will get on that right away. On the 1 1/2 from Custom Dynamics, is that on their main site. I have ordered from them before so I will check.

Thanks again, Morgan

PS, the bike is looking great. Check out the bars I am getting on the new thread on the XBboard

The race air cleaner lists for 64.95
Less the "ever popular" Badweb discount it's 58.46
add about 8-10 bucks for shipping and no sales tax so it will be, worst case, 68.46 to your door and I have them in stock.
