Socialized medicine is expensive, eh? Registration here in NY is $14 per year, initial registration was higher, but not outrageously so. |

We pay $10 a year in Iowa, no matter what size bike, but there is talk of raising it a bit to help pay for roads and bridges. |

When Ahnold double the price of vehicle registrations here in Call-e-for-nee-ah, I think my Buell cost me about $200 for the year with the "PWNZOR" license plate. Now it's gone down to something like $130 for the year. Something like that, not exactly. Yeah, the socialist paradise has it's downfalls. |

If Washington state used the old system I would have paid around $400.00. We as voters nixed that about 8 years ago, now I pay $38.50. Yep, Washington is a Democrat(socialist) run state. |

I was thinking of getting a 12s but even if it's the cheapest of the two it's still going to be alot more then my small drz. Damn it even my drz will cost more just to plate there than plate+insurance here in BC which says alot since I never thought I would find more expensive then BC, I guess I was very wrong. |

It varies from state to state. In Az. it is based on the original msrp of the vehicle. First year is high, then it goes down a bit each year untill it hits the minimum. IIRC my Buell was around $200 the first time. |

Hey Luxor how in theee heck do you pay 38 bucks for tabs here in Washington? I just got my license tabs renewal notice in the mail and it is $180ish -- there is some road charge that is like $140 or so that goes in that total that I have never seen before -- which pisses me off since we as voters did vote to keep the tabs fee at $35...so what the friggen heck is goin on?!?!? Oh, and Washington isn't a democratic state -- the major metro area of Seattle/Tacoma/Bellvue/Everett/Olympia is democratic and everywhere else is more republican -- notice how easy it is to get a conceal and carry in this state? Thats a good thing IMO! Gotta love this schitzo state -- we need therapy... |
