How much is a new belt, mirrors, and (possibly) a 2 year warranty worth to you?

You can probably get a '03 for $8K, and might even be able to talk the dealership into giving you the new 2 year warranty. If you can, buy the '03, hands down. Leave the belt guards on, buy some new mirrors for $50, and you've just saved yourself a thousand dollars. If you really want to, for a few hundred dollars you can convert the belt drive to the new one and you've still saved hundreds of dollars.

2004 XB9 series bikes aren't supposed to ship until mid year. CAN YOU WAIT?? I personally have no patience and would find a deal on a 2003.

>>>Come to Iowa and buy one now. Ride it home!

I'd be willing to bet that THE DAVE is one of the few who could coax another dealer to come from Florida to Iowa to buy a Buell.

For my two cents, all I'll say is..."wouldn't be a dumb move" Dave has proven his mettle while distinguishing himself as a dealer who is selling 2004 Buells faster than he is getting them.

Tell me that at least ONCE you'll post here that you have a "waiting list" for Buells!

I do have a waiting list for Buells!
Craig sold the black 12S that we had in stock a week ago yesterday(I'm glad I hired him).
I have a friend and asst director of our BRAG club waiting for the 1st red 12R to show up(still not here,it shipped last Tuesday,I never knew that East Troy was 5 days away instead of 5 hours?) and I have arranged the purchase of another red 12R from another dealer as soon as it shows up there so I can bring it to Iowa and sell it to another Bueller that is a friend of mine and already owns an X1 and a XB9R!
I also have another customer, soon to be a Bueller, waiting for my first black 12R to show up.
Doug(my boss) went to Des Moines yesterday to the state fair and might be bring home a black 12R from a dealer down that way just to keep the pantry filled.

Ride to the edge!
Still amazed they won't send me the bikes I need before they send them to clueless dealers!
Sure would've been nice to have some for BattleTrax today.

And Lord knows there's too many clueless ones and not nearly enough ENTHUSIASTIC ones.

No 9s being built right now so they can get up to speed with the production of the 12s.

No 9s being built?!? Well...That just simply bites

I guess it's good in away cause now I have plenty of time to sell the Sporty, patience is now mandatory rather than optional. But it ain't exactly uplifting either. Oh well, Ce' cera cera.

BuckinFubba,

Count me on your 'edge' list and put me on the bleeding edge of the 'edge.' I just need to get back to the states before you and Dave sell all the '04 models. Waiting list for Buells -- who can tell me how freaking great it is to hear that? Even if it means a few out there, me included, will get stuck in a holding pattern.
