well took the 12 for a ride on my day off friday. 15 degrees/1 degree with wind chill. doesnt count the fact that i was moving along pretty good...

anyway, got home

pulled her in the garage and tore it apart

swapped the other set of plastics on it and am getting it ready for sale.

i was going to sand down the windscreen and paint it black, but i actually think it looks better with the amber one on it like this, then the black one on this same set up.

lol, no... although i will still end up with something along the lines of my zrt 800's or my thundercat one of these winters again.

i just need to get back some of my garage! we sold the gf's 01 blast with 11,000 miles, but already had it replaced with another 04 with 132 on it. i have her blast & YZ80, my 9, 12, 1125, & Z50R all sitting in the one stall garage. plus i want to direct more work towards the 1125 so i need to thin the herd.

I've had a blast with the sled. Its going to to get a new clutch this fall. Its just alittle weak. I put a new track on her and 192 pick's. I installed a new set of 3rd generation V Force reeds. They really woke her up. Might clean the heads up this summer. Other then that I'm leaving it alone.

What size tire is that on the rear? Looks bigger than the 180.

180 pilot power.

i have run plenty of 190's through the 9 though, but now its back on a 180 also.

Bad, there are some really good clutch kits out for those things, you can also change the gearing a bit for even more bottom end. how often do you really have the room to top that thing ALL the way out!

the vforce reeds are good.

boondockers makes some nice go juice kits for them... although i didnt use a kit on the thundercat!

Rice,

I thought about the gearing..... Maybe. I have topped it out on Tichigan lake and the Fox River. I figure its gotta be around 120 ish. Maybe a fuzz more. I do know though in stock form my Mach Z would lay the Smack down on it. But I'm gonna get more out of it so thats OK. The shock's are going to an old part sponsor of mine when I was dragging in the 90's,Goodwin Performance. They are going to rebuild the Fox shock's for me and revalve.
