I am considering it. I currently reside in AZ and only a few miles from the starting point.

I haven't made my reservations yet, still waiting to see if a friend of mine is going to go. Even if he doesn't, I'm going to.

I'm hoping to be there also, depending on work schedule.

I think I'm going, but have not signed up yet. Will be leaving from San Diego, so if anyone in SoCal (or NorCal, for that matter) is going and wants to meet up, get in touch with me.

I'm considering trailering the bike to Phoenix, but not decided. Once you leave San Diego county, there isn't much worth riding until the area north of Phoenix..mostly it's just a blast across the desert, flat and straight.

If any californian wants to meet in San Diego and trailer it from San Diego to Phoenix, let me know.

We've been making plans on going, but now she might be changing her mind. So it'll probably be just me.

Al, I'll ride up with ya. If you decide to haul 'em, let's talk. There's a SCAB mtg this Thurs.

I was gonna fix up my dirt bike trailer to haul the Firebolt behind our new car, but I don't know if they can put a trailer hitch on a Ion 2. Anybody seen it done?

At the last Golden State BRAG meeting, Tim H. mentioned trailering his bike to Torque-Fest. He might have space available for 1.

Cool, Darryl, that'd be great....Not sure I'll make the SCAB meeting this week, but might. If not, I'll talk to ya on the phone.

I can actually haul THREE bikes in my trailer, and the supercrew F150 can carry 4 people comfortably. Just did it for the return trip from Tahoe after SPLASH.

Not sure about such things yet, but whatever made sense for all involved. IF it was just me, I'd probably head out 8, but if I was picking up CA folks more north then 10 makes sense. Either way, I have to go north at some point, doesn't matter to me if I do it on the phoenix end or the LA end

I haven't caught up with my friend yet to see if he's going, if he is, we would ride out, if he's not a truck with the bikes trailered sounds good to me. Are you a smoker?? or would I have nic fits on the way there

Not a smoker. I can deal with cigarettes in bars OK, but mornings/cars are tougher. We could make it work, what with rest stops/gas stops, maybe a couple along the way with the window open, or something, I'd bet, assuming you're not a chain smoking cig fiend :) . I'm 90% planning on going, but haven't registered yet. I'll be locked on it within a week. Find out about your friend, we'll figure it out from there. Darryl, you too, we'll talk in about a week.

If you don't smoke in your truck thats cool, I'd keep it that way. I could live as long as the rest stops aren't to far apart, 2 hours max. I talked to my friend yesterday, he had not received his issue of FUELL yet, so has no clue about it. I filled him in and he's thinking about it. So I'll keep ya posted.

'Ski
Change in plans....I'm still going, but now my wife and kid are too, as well as Sparky and now maybe SteveH (local Bueller/dirt riding friend) too. So I think the truck/trailer may be full from down here.

Is your bud going? I just took care of the final registration details today.

Admin,
Could you move this topic to the Storm Fronts/BRAG SW Torque-fest Adventure topic?

Like managing databases, that'd make it easier tracking the latest info, IMO. Thanks,
Sparky
