Had the day off so I decided to cut off the "cheese grater". Here what I came up with...

I used an air body saw to get the rough cut, then a 5 1/4" disk grinder, and finished with some hand files. Took a good amount of time, but came out quite good. Made a plate bracket out of some flat stainless. Added some "Bolt FX" LED's for the plate lighting.

nice work kaveman, that rattle can finish is to die for.

What about some picks with the lights on ? I've only seen them on the self.

Very clever design.

Might look even better with some small LED turn signals, so the your design would stand out more, and not be overwhelmed by the stock turn signals.

Shock Racing makes some nice one that are rather inexpensive too. Mini 1's are nice, I use the larger and stronger Mini 9's.
