After the false start Saturday they fixed it (shorted wire, of course seems to be a Buell thing) and then delivered it for me, and of course picked up their Road King. Saved me a 120 mile round trip.

I just got back from a short ride and WOW is all I can say. This thing gives new meaning to "Turn & Burn". Just think turn and it’s done and pulls like there’s no tomorrow. Still have to do a good suspension set up but I start tonight on that as the weatherman’s calling for rain the tomorrow.

OH the mirrors give a great view…of my shoulders but that’s all. And the fan is just as bad as you all said it was...guy next door knocked on the door to tell me I left it running!

Hope this it the beginning of a long fun time!

Well, for the mirrors. Check out the American Sportbike website. They have some Aprilla mirrors on there that might help. I ordered mine and am awaiting shipment.

I need a "winter home" in Sydney.
Winters here in Colorado are getting hard to ride in...33˚F outside right now.
Enjoy your summer dwunundabkr.

33˚F outside right now.
You're kidding!
It's 66˚ here now, we probably won't see 33˚ for another month or two.
I love the South!

Drat, it's heading hard to winter here. So I got the bike just in time to sit in the garage all winter waiting for spring. BUT I guess it's better than having my nose froze to the dealer window come Feb!

I've already started to make it "My Bike" just ditched the rear number plate and am ordering a set of sliders this weekend.

I still thing it funny how much it can shake when it it warming up AND not have parts falling off!

get bar end mirrors. if you want to keep the hand guards, american sport bike had a kit that allows the use of hand guards with bar ends.

2 words: Electric gear!

With a heated vest and gloves you can extend your riding season quite a ways on both ends. Snowmobile suits too!

Just something to think about.
