Picked up an 06 Yamaha Midnight Warrior. 1700CC Air cooled V Twin. It's a fun bike. R1 suspension, wheels, breaks. Nice cruiser with lots of power. I'm gonna save up for some mods and get rid of the Bazooka Tube, big air kit and a Power Commander in due time. I can ride it a lot longer than the lightning and it can handle the twisties as well! Selling the Red 04XB12S. She's been a good bike but the lady friend couldn't ride with me to long on the lightning and it wasn't real comfortable at all with 2up anyway.

The Warriors are very nice bikes except for the "Bazooka Tube" mufflers. That has to be one of the dumbest looking stock mufflers on the planet.

Do you ever have anything good to say. The guy just got a new bike and you have something negative. In all honesty I've seen several threads that you keep doing the same.

Congrats Xbeau12s,

The bike looks great. I have actually had the Night Rod V-Rod in my mind. Possibly looking at picking one up next Spring.... unless Buell pulls out something fantastic.

If I ever had to buy a cruiser, the Warrior would be it. But be warned they're NOT known for their passenger accommodations! Think twice before getting rid of that Buell if passenger accommodations are the real reason...

Nice bike! My little Bro just got one of these. I rode it last weekend and have to admit I liked it. Very comfortable and very smooth power deliver. He's getting some short slash black pipes and getting the headlight and speedo blacked out.

Dang 1700cc huh. Will it wheelie? Or Stoppie? So you gonna be out spanking the boys on the Buells in the twisties? Whats it weigh? Is it a 6 speed?

Umm I'm pretty sure Xbeau12s would agree with me about the muffler and I doubt he'll be offended. As a matter of fact I only brought up the subject because he called it a Bazooka. If he didn't mention it I wouldn't have brought it up. If he gets offended I will apologize. I don't think you need to get offended for him. Besides, I complimented the bike. I love it.

I'm not offended by you in any way. Instead of giving your negative opinion in any manner just congrats the guy and leave it lie. Ever heard the saying if you have nothing good to say don't say it at all??? This applies.

JWhite, yes they will wheelie. I know this from first hand experience since I ride one all the time.

Great looking bike!
Friend of mine has one and its enough to make me want one too. Passenger comforts aren't the best according to his old lady. They are looking to get a different aftermarket seat to accomidate her a little better.

no offense on the muffler. The first thing I said was "that's gotta go!" and along with the muffler I am looking at a lower profile one and you can get extensions for the passenger foot pegs so the rider is more comfortable. I'm not gonna go on any road trips 2 up but it can be cured and anything is better than a 50 mile trip 2 up on a Buell if you ask me! Just like any bike, mod, mod, mod but that's some of the fun! I gotta post some vids of the forum I joined to gather intel first. Good folk and very helpful. Hope they don't mind me posting these videos or if I can post them here! - why do you think I bought my Buell? Thanks Badweb! Check em

Thank you. I rest my case...

Anyway, some guy at work has a V Star 1100 Classic or something like that and it sounds awesome with aftermarket pipes, but it is incredibly loud. I'm sure this bike will sound just as good.

Xbjelly9s: Victorys are so awesome too. They are probably my favorite looking cruisers.

I actually looked at getting the exact same bike while I was working my last job, then took a pay cut and had to forget about it, but the warriors are awesome. A friend rides one and it looks and sounds great. I've had my eye on the Triumph Rocket lately. If it weren't for money I would have a whole stable full. But anyway congrats on the new ride and I will have to second the opinion that the passenger seat is not that comfortable, his wife is not the happiest camper when she rides with him.

"...yes they will wheelie."

Warriors can't wheelie... didn't you know that?

Neither did this guy...

Damn that is scary!!!!

The Warrior is an awesome riding bike. Friends of the Carolina Corner Carvers Pete has one, he put the air ride suspension on it and it is one killer ride!!!

They can also wheelie nicely. Just ask Kyle Woods or watch Judgement Day 3 (best stunt movie ever IMO!).

WOW! After watching this I may put more than one eye on it. It's amazing what some can do on about any bike. There's a local watering hole where everyone goes in the summer, been doing it since the late 60's, they were even on ESPN a couple of years ago and they've got a pic on the wall of a dressed Vulcan on the back wheel. CRAZY MAN CRAZY!
