For those of you that have removed the stock mirrors on the XBS and went for the bar-end look, what did you use to cover the holes left from the stock mirrors?

I just used the proper metric bolt, ( I forget the size), and then painted them black.

Just bring the mirror to the hardware store, find a nut that fits, ( 8mm / 1.25 or something like that), and get two short bolts of that threading.

You can get the plugs that are used on the 12R models. There is a part number for them and they can be ordered in pairs.

I picked up the 12R plugs at the local HD dealer, but if you use them, be careful, I broke mine when I put them in and my hubby ended up having to take them out and put in some plugs that he picked up at Lowes.

I used the plugs from the 12R too. Local Harley shop had them in stock, and they were really cheap!!
