Proud new owner here. I've had various jap sport bikes in the past and decided before I finally settle down and get a cruiser style harley I'd play with a buell for awhile. I was talking with the parts dept and the dealership I purchased mine at, and the they told me that aftermarket parts were going to be hard to locate for the 07 models.?? Is there much of a difference between the 06 and 07 engine components? The parts I was interested in were a good performance increasing exhaust, ignition control, I haven't found any power programmers, or even the screaming eagle listed for the 07, and I have read the threads about open air box mod, which I plan on doing if and when I locate the other two. Such an awesome engine, I can only imagine the possibilities. Thanks in advance for any help. |

06 and 07 are basically the same bike. Al at American Sport Bike can hook you up, or just check out any of the other sponsors. There's plenty of stuff out there, it's all about knowing where to look and who to talk to. |

The factory race ECM and air filter are still available for your bike, IIRC the ECM is the same from 2005 to current. Make sure you get one for the 12, the ecm for the 9 is different. The only thing Buell discontinued was the race pipe, but there are a few sponsors on the BadWeB that would be more than willing to "help you out" with a different or modded pipe. |

Ok Thanks for your help. I have to look up al. I will most likely wait on the ecm until after my 2 years are up so I dont waste a good warranty. From what I've read I should make sure I do air, exhaust and ecm all at one time. |

I would check with your dealer about the warranty issue. I know mine will cover just about anything, if they install it. |

Congratulations on your new Buell. You have already learned Lesson Number One: 1. The worst place to get information about a Buell is at a Harley Dealer. And Lesson Number Two: 2, If you have a question, the best place to get the answer is Bad Web. Not bad for a rookie!
