Hawks Nest is Rt 97 N/W of Port Jervis up along the Delaware river on the NY/PA Border. Great road, have friends who live right off if. It is part of my big riding loop, but alas won't be able to make it down there this weekend.

Brumbear

Here in West Virginia there is a Hawk's Nest. It's a state park and it just happens to be located on Rt 60 with some of the best "S" turns I have ever seen. Tight turns with lots a chamber. If you ride WV give it a try.

Here's a pic from a couple years ago:

I'm the second one coming down.

Roid the pic is of Hawks Nest just outside of Port Jervis.
Avg speed on 218 is about 60, more if I'm having a good day. Most days when we are just out cruisin it's in the area of 50 as unexpected surprises are plentifull there.

Hello Buellers, I'm in the North Jersey area and would love to hook up for some rides in the near future. I may even try to do Hawks Nest on Saturday if I can. I rode Hawks nest towards the end of last season and it was great. I've also done Bear Mountain/7 Lakes drive a few times...good stuff.
