Not only is he faster than a speeding bullet, but Hammer does probably the best and fastest parking lot TPS reset on the planet!! Here he is resetting the TPS on Lil'Blackie, one of several I saw him do in very short order. I thought the bike was running ok, but boy, was I in for a surprise: after his reset, it seemed like a whole new motor - faster and smoother. If it took him five minutes, it was a lot.
Luckily for all of us, I believe he did Tracker95's bike which was running rather poorly, just before he filmed this awesome video. HAMMER IS THE MAIN MAN!! Thanks again Rich! |

Nothing like filming a colossal lack of regard for safety or traffic laws. |

I'd says its the smell of calamari. Not that I'm trying to start a flame war. I'm just pointing out that if you are going to get the wild hair and pretend that you're on the track think about whether or not you want to film it. You get pulled over, or are in an accident and they can seize the camera and use it as evidence. Care and discretion thats all I'm saying |

PB, Smokescreen and I were leading that ride and was no where near where I ride on the track. We had room to brake for unforeseen obstacles and were no where near the full lean angle of the bike or the limit of the bike. Yeah we pushed it, but with more regard than you think. Come and follow along if you can keep up. Oh, I have rode with cops before, they usually push harder than I do knowing they can get out of the trouble. |

Pulled over.....We were, with no issues at all. Seize Camera.... Think again.... 4th amendment rights (search and seizure) Was a very controled ride and as 12r stated we were in no way over our heads or pushing the limits of the bike (or ourselves for that matter). |

"Seize Camera.... Think again.... 4th amendment rights (search and seizure)" The 4th doesnt cover you there. If you are caught breaking the law and filming it, they can seize the tape/media and use it as evidence. |

At no time on that ride did I feel out of control. That pace was spirited not a race. |

At no time on that ride did I feel out of control. That pace was spirited not a race. Just an observation, but it seems like you spent a lot of time on (or over) the yellow line in the left handers, especially toward the end of the video. Not a great idea, and an indicator you're in over your head. And what's with the inside-the-lane pass two minutes in? Had that been me we would have been having a very "spirited" conversation on the side of the road. Not smart. EDIT: Wow! Just watched the whole thing. Really, really bad pass. You know which one I'm talking about. |

It isn't real apparent in the video, but we are using hand signals after the rider has cleared the vehicle. I agree, to someone who wasn't there it appears a little over zealous in spots. Passing each other in the lane is something we here in the south are used to. If you don't want to be passed by someone faster you have two options here, speed up or get the hell off the bike. Even the H-D guys up here know when they are outclassed. If someone is quick enough to pass me, I'll let em go...Till the next good passing opportunity arises! We all has a great time and nobody got seriously hurt. For those of you who didn't make it or haven't been, your missing the best riding of your life. Smokescreen |

I live in the South; it is not something "we" do. If fact, most folks I've ridden with would be all over you for an ignorant stunt like that. All it would take would be for the rider in front to slide right just a few inches, and you'd both been in the weeds. Why not use the other lane? I got no problem with being passed, unless you put me at risk doing it. By the way, the really bad pass I was referring to was in the second video, where the camera bike had to squeeze between the vehicle he was passing and an oncoming SUV. Too close for comfort, and probably scared/pissed off both drivers. Or is that something "we" do in the south too? |
