That drastically angled tail section always reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite place it. Well, I finally figured it out. It looks like a cat in heat.

Thanks No_rice,
I tried their site and they say something about not translated yet...

So that must be a custom rim to run the 200 then I guess..

when it says that the english pages arent done, it also mentions the german pages, try those. some of it is translated. you can atleast make some of it out. i dont think the american ones will ever actually be done. it has been that way the whole time i have been on here.

and if i remember right he had the rim widened a bit for the 200 so that it didnt mess up the profile even slightly

Scunna, do you have a pic looking down at your handlebars and controls?
Lightning, is that a custom top triple clamp or what?

Nice Svo. Your frame and plastics look great! Is that powdercoat or paint on the frame and swingarm? Have you thought about doing the front fairing and forks?

JWhite:

Stock triple, I removed the handle bar saddles and trimmed the cluster fairings to fit the clip-ons. It looks much cleaner than the Crossroads bars for the XBS.

That is super nice. How bout some more pics? The glossy frame/sa looks great. Would like to see a better shot of the plastics. Did you paint it all yourself?

I remember your bike from last years custom thread Svo. It looks completely different depending on the light. I didn't even notice the flake in the paint in the first picture you posted.

JWhite:

The way I did it the stock instruments would need to sit 3/4" higher. That's not a bad thing as in the new riding position you must look way down to see the instruments. In the end I wanted something very clean that looked like something the factory could have done.

After that the choice of gauges was very difficult. All the options I come up with set the new gauges lower than stock and would have looked great but been of marginal use riding.

"

"

I decided on the Dakota Digital #MCV-7400 Speedometer/ Tachometer Information Center because it will sit 1 3/4" higher and when mounted directly behind a custom flyscreen will require the least head movement to see. All the info in on the so I will not have to wire up and mount separate information lights and finally frees up some dash space for a guarded grip heat switch and anything else that comes to mind.

Also I found some discussion but no one seems to have install a Digital Dakota before. So wish me luck, it should look cool.
