It has only been three months, but I finally got the notification to pick up my new plates for my CityX. Too bad I am leaving on Monday for a week, so I'll have to get them when I come back. Can't wait to finally get them on the bike.

If you see a blue XB9SX with "CTY HERO" on the plate, you'll know its me.

Nice plates Sean, I'll be on the lookout for those.

Side note: If you have AAA you could have had the plates delivered to your local office and avoided going to the DMV. That's where I handle all my plates these days. Order the plate on the DMV website, and call AAA to have them transfer the plates into their office. It's a great convenience.

Yeah, I do all my stuff with AAA, but when I order my plates, I do it online and they don't give you the AAA option.

A secret about how messed up CA's DMV is: Whether or not you have an appointment, walk in and tell them you have one. They are not allowed to verify, they can just add you to the list of appointment that have shown. So I never make an appointment and just walk in for my business. Try it next time you have to go, it works.

You've all seen mine...

On the subject of AAA, just call and let them know the plate is coming. They'll handle it from there. It takes them a few days to get it once it arrives, but it's better than walking into that filthy hovel (DMV) for any reason.

I wanted Hooligan (HULIGAN, HOOLIGN, etc.), but it was taken.

I think CTY HERO is cool because I doubt anyone but Buellers will get it, and thats what is fun.
