Was watching VH1 this weekend and they showed a promo video with Queensryche and Erik Buell. This was for the band's cross promotion with Buell for the "save the music" foundation. They showed the band riding Ulys with Erik and a HD group as they went to the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC. Queensryche played a show there, wearing Buell shirts. Erik and the band were interviewed in Times Square too. Very entertaining.

Someone needs to announce this type of thing in advance. Sucks hearing about a show that would have been worth watching after the fact.

Watch closely and see what Erik calls VH-1.

That's what they get for interviewing him in the closing hours of a 21 hour day.

I gotta question- what is up with the Harley Brass?....for the 100th they bring in Elton John ("Good bye Yellow Brick Road" and other hits) and now the correlation with the ultimate 80's pseudo mullet- metal band....hmmmm

what does that say about what The Motor Company thinks about the tastes of their buyers?

HAHAHA

Only Kidding here people- RELAX

Thats because this was something The Motor company didn't do.... Erik did. HD really didn't. Buy the new CD and in the thank you's its Erik that is thanked.

I think it states that Erik thinks his Buell Enthusiasts love good music because, imho Queensryche is one of the most talented bands of all time.

That just MHO tho.

At last year's BMW MOA Rally, the most popular shirts featured the word "Elton" with a red circle surrounding it and a line through it. Below that, it said: "Bad to the Bone."

The entertainment at that year's rally was George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers. Now THAT'S Biker Entertainment!!

"for the 100th they (H-D) bring in Elton John"

I missed that, but I have to say, WTF?

H-D = Tough guys (and tough guy wannabes) in black leather.

Elton John = Homosexual singer historically known to wear funny costumes an silly glasses.

How in the WORLD did they come up with that match???

We don't have VH1 here in Canada. If someone can tape those on VH1, I'll pay for the tape and the shipping to get it.

It can be fun for me to see Queensryche guys with the helmets I painted.

VH1 will probably also show it when they will auction the bikes, jackets and helmets at the end of the US tour in October.

Black leather buttless chaps. Elton John.

Not too far of a stretch if you ask me.

The Queensryche bikes will be auctioned off by tomorrow afternoon. People have been bidding on them for days. Right now one is at 6500 and the other at 7400 with 17 hours left of bidding.

Stou I don't think the helmets and jackets they show no mention of them in the auction. I think Queensryche will be keeping them i'm not sure, unless they go with he bikes. It doesn't say in the auction description.

I was told that the bikes, jackets and helmets was to be auctioned.

But as you write, maybe they decided to keep them!
