My cousin and 2 friends flew in from Argentina to Maryland, USA. They bought 2 Buell XB12X bikes and are traveling back to Buenos Aires, Argentina (10,000 miles) over the next 2 months. They are documenting the adventure in real-time at: http://enlazandoamerica.com.ar (only Spanish) Just wondering if anyone has done something similar or knows who they can contact at BRAG, Buell, HD, Fuell that might have an interest in this. Thanks. Please visit the site and email them (in English). They would love to hear from a LOT of people.... TIA fd |

Ah, looks like they purchased their bikes over at the HD dealer by the airpark in Montgomery County. |

They purchased them from: Bernie Keller of Rockville Harley-Davidson in Maryland (240.364.2080). You from that area By the way, that is one of the greatest names I have seen...LOL Do you think Buell would be interested in their story, or is it common for people to do this.... |

Seems like Buell would want to do something... Probably nobody is going to want to remake the "Long Way Round" (great show BTW) but certainly it deserves some mention and/or photos in FUELL or something.... unless of course the bikes blow up and fall apart. They should have dropped by the Buell factory when passing through... |

They are in Chicago, leaving today or in the morning for St. Louis. I am trying to get someone at Buell in Milwaukee to see them but no luck so far. "unless of course the bikes blow up and fall apart".. Trying not to think about that.... Hope you email them....they are gonna need as much support as possible... Thanks.. fd |

Tell them to stop at Buell; there are many Hispanic Buell employees that would gladly discuss Buell with them! |

I'm not directly from that area but I live in Maryland. I was over at that dealership two days ago. They also sell BMW's and Yamaha's. |

Victor: Send me a note with a rough schedule and get me a phone number I can reach you at. I'm in meetings all afternoon, but have placed a call to get your friends properly welcomed at the Buell factory. I'm also letting Corporate Communications and the Advertising Brand Manager know. They oversee all the internal and external publications. Court |

The East Troy contingent is at the ready. If they get there before 2:00PM, Mike will show them production. After 2:00, they'll miss "bike makin' " but be warmly greeted. |

Victor, Rodolfo and Katia just completed the V.I.P. Tour of the Buell Pant and are on their way to Argentina! Thank you for making certain they made it by the plant. You can't believe how gosh darn excited the folks at Buell get about being part of these types of adventures! Seldom has a day passed in the world of Buell where I haven't gained at least one great new friend! Safe trip to them as they head to South America. Court P.S. - My wife complained about the 911. When you shop and force the hood closed, it puts "inside out dimples" where the shoe boxes hit it . . . ain't it always something. I am....however...in line for a Cayman so I **can** be bought. P.P.S. - You do know about the Buell 911 connection, right? Remind me to tell you someday . . . and you thought it was an accident, that 911 model on Erik's bookcase. |

court - please hook us up on the buell-911 connection...you've got me salivating thinking about a porche engineered engine a la v-rod, but one designed for a buell...please do share. |

Court, Thanks again for everything. Hopefully this is only the beginning. Would love to hear about the 911 connection. I am a big car nut, 911 and M3 especially. I would rather be on a track with a 911 then out buying stuff so no worries about the dimples..LOL Thanks again for everything and to everyone.
