Anyone going to Liberty Buell in NJ this weekend? I'm making the trip up from PA for the event.

For those who don't know, Erik and his band The Thunderbolts are performing at noon. Then Court is leading a ride down to Atlantic City for the Queensryche concert at the House of Blues in support of the VH-1 Save the Music Foundation.

I will be there showing off the helmet and the new 07 Firebolt I won in the Tourist Trophy helmet design contest. I also designed some really cool t-shirts for the event. They will be sold to raise money for the foundation. I don't think they will last long so get your if you come.

If your in the area stop in and see me. I'd love to meet all you Badwebbers.

I'll be coming in from Altoona, PA. I still haven't set a route yet. My GPS says I-80, but I'd rather not slab it TO NJ, maybe coming home. Anyone else have a route mapped out yet? I'm open for ideas.

There are GREAT routes through the hills and mountains of New Jersey.

Shirts are, according to UPS tracking,

HODGKINS,IL, US
09/20/2006 12:18 A.M.
DEPARTURE SCAN

The shirts alone will be worth the trip. This design is one of the coolest ever and it'll make a great place for autographs. . I'm intent on getting the entire band and the Queensryche guys!

This is going to be a fun party!

I'll be there but not to many scenic routes.
Unless we ride the coast. Probably going to take the Parkway.

Due to my wife and father-in-law going along...we are umm...trailering the bikes from PA. Not my idea but it's out of my control and no need to make waves. Then we are riding from Rahway to Atlantic City. Then trailering back home to York. I may jump ship on the way home Sunday to get a good ride and make it home in plenty of time for the 1:00 kickoffs.

Black - Wise choice to go with the flow. You could unload at my house & ride in with us. I'll be leaving around 9:45.

I rode many enduros out in York back in the day.

Ant - The parking lot is smaller this year due to the showroom expansion. Where are you going to put all of them? Is it allowed to park along the street?

Hmmm... Do I see a birthday trip in my future?

Figure I can make it out there in about 5 hours if I slab it the whole way. I'm sure my son would be up for it.

I'll have to whip some plans up for my daughter - my wife's working a 12 hour shift.

Could be doable...

If not I've still got plans for Mid-Ohio the following week (probably not going to make the Saturday Formula Extreme race although I'd love to).

Blackxb9 - not that it's relevant but I lived in Etters for a year back in the early 90's. Also had a buddy that owned a house right up the hill from the HD plant. It was pretty entertaining to sit on his front porch at shift changes.

I have 4 tickets to that concert that I can not use.
They are in PDF form and thus emailable. You will simply need to print them out and bring them.

If anyone wants them, I would be willing to part with them for free as I would rather see them used than go to waste.

PM me if you are interested.

Ikeman- yeah a buddy of mine is a manager at HD and he said you'd be amazed how fast they can get out the door, up the hill to the bar and back in 20 minutes when working a double.

Will be nice to put faces with all these names. Hope the weather cooperates.

The lot is a bit smaller I think - but it will be closed off to cars - bikes only.

We were just discussing parking! There is street parking along Broad Street, which is the long side of the building facing the train station, and the lot across the street, which is a public lot, I THINK is free on weekends, but I'm not 100% sure.

You can cram a good number of bikes in our lot. Of course, we have the demo truck too (which arrived a few hours ago - looks so good out there!) and a bike show in the back.

When you get here, there should be a badweather sign-in sheet. Just name, nick, zip code, whatever. I'd like to see how far the farthest person is. : )

I can't wait to see everyone!

Why me? this is killing me. I use to live so close, only about an hour and a half away but I HAD to take a job in florida over 1k miles away. I guess if I left know I would be there with time to spare

Oh well, I guess I'll have the last laugh come speed week and everyone is heading down here while daytona is in my back yard.

I spent the day with Erik and the guys today and they are SUPER HYPED!

Liberty, for them, is like a "Homecoming".

Also made a new friend and almost got "whacked".

Don't tell Carmella!

: )

Saturday is going to be spectacular . . .be there or be square. Listen closely for 5 Buells thundering through Manhattan about midnight tonight!

I am dropping my Fiance' off at JFK early that morning, so I will be heading back through that way.
I plan to stop by, unfortunately I will be in my car. I'm half tempted to drive all the way back home and pick up the bike though.

Toona - I lost your number when my phone got wet. Could you pm it to me? I plan to call you to meet up when I am near Rahway.
