Ok I'm gonna slap on some full fairings, an undertail, paintjob, carbon fender, some $15 blinkers, and half-ass polish my heel guards and call it "ONE OF THE SWEETEST BUELLS IN THE ENTIRE PLANET!"

I am a genious.

No Doubt on the over sell, very descriptive too,
if you lay on the ground and look straight up through the swing arm at the sun for 20-48 minutes, you'll notice how sweet it really is, In keeping with street cred. I like the way the inside of the fair is un-painted ( almost), keepin it REAL.
I'm in sales, i have to give the guy an above average grade on the attempt.

Totally tricked out? I see stock grips, levers, wheels, brakes, pegs, mirrors, seat, passenger seat, passenger pegs, the license plate is all bent to hell and just tacked on to the swingarm, it still has the reflectors on the forks...

How is that "totally" tricked out?

Heh I like mine better! I even have a one-off Terry G. built motor in mine;)

I thought "full custom, one of a kind" body kits would not be something you can purchase off the shelf, like sharkskinz.

If you want the sharkskinz bodywork try Halspa.com.

Blah

Not impressed, Why hide all that sweet hardware?

For a "custom" tricked out ride it has a few blemishes and does not look like the spent alot of time/effort with the details.

Just my 2cents

I actually like it. It does seem to be slapped together, but it does look unique.

Question though, wouldn't the body work interfere with cooling?

I could just see the body work melt off while stuck in traffic

Nah man! It's like a civic with 800+ horsepower.

BTW I wouldn't mention Honda in the same breath as Buell, unless it's of the two wheel variety.

I never got the point of the full body kit anyway. Isnt the engine supposed to have as much air as possible hitting it? Why cover it, now it looks like a rice rocket.

Am I the only one who noticed the apparent lack of the factory air scoop as well as the oil cooler? I couldn't locate either one no matter how many different angles I looked at it. And why would you wrap a full fairing around a hot running air cooled engine?

Based on a cursory look at the pictures it looks like a poorly thought out POS.

I think I see it (barely). I still think it's a bad idea to put a fairing on it though.

Nah.... the beauty of the XB's is the nakedness (ooooh yeah, baby, naked!)

I hate the full body kits. Just doesn't look right, and seems almost counter-productive. Adds weight, reduces airflow. Doubt the CF fender is gonna make up for that!

I have never had a single heat related problem. I personally like the fully faired look.

The street fairings with the holes cut are made by sharkskinz. You can get them from halspa.com ;)

If you've never mounted race fairing before be aware you need:
1)a friend to help hold and align things.
2) the hardware/mounting kit (sold seperately)
3) a drill
4) a die grinder, or dremel, and/or jig saw
5) a pop rivet gun

This is in addition to normal hand tools and a sharpie.
These fairings come with only the headlight holes cut. You will need to cut clearance for your exhaust and kickstand.
Also, you cannot run this bodywork without the bellypan because the wind will shred it.

That said I love it. I am constantly asked what kind of bike it is and how fast it goes ;)
It is most often mistaken for a "new Ducati"
My bike as it is gets more second (and third) looks than any bike I've ever owned.
