I still haven't made it into the shop yet to get my fan replaced and my TPS looked at, and I'm kinda' worried that no one around here is going to do it properly since Buells are such a rarity in these parts. I've been to Mountain Creek H-D in Dalton, GA, and I think mine may have been the first XB they've ever serviced. They pretty much ignored my concerns, told me it ran fine, and sent me away with a still-spluttery engine. Not pleased.

So, has anyone had any luck with the guys at Earl Small, or maybe one of the other dealers in that area? Atlanta has another 1 or 2 somewhere, I think.....

Stone Mountain HD/Buell is one of the best dealers in the country!
They actually care about the bikes and the hooligans that ride them.
It would be in your best interest to take it to them.

Stone Mountain is the only dealer that has touched my bike other than Myself!

You should come out and play with us on a thursday sometime, or the weekend
for that matter. Check us out in the Storm Fronts under 3% Bragging Rights Club.

Hmm... Stone Mountain's quite a trek from Rome, especially since I'm still on my learners permit. May be worth trailering in though, just for the peace of mind!

Based on scheduling I could possibly come and pick up the bike for you. Give me a call at the shop and I will see what I can do for you.

Earl's is more of a Harley dealership.

They did great warranty work on my 2000 M2, but it was quite a while ago, about 5 years. Not sure what's going on there now, but they were top notch at the time. I remember the service manager's name was Darrin Shock and he backed up everything he said. If he's still working there, I recommend a mechanic named Bart; his work was excellent. He's the guy I credit for turning my Buell experience into a good one.
