I'm in the middle of the winter project, tearing down the bike and checking things, and I want to reclaim the snorkel space in the frame. I want to cut out the snorkel tube and reweld the frame closed. I'm going with the open air box and the newer vented cover, so I don't think I need it. I'm sure someone else has done it, anyone have any recommendations? I haven't found anyone qualified around my neck of the woods to do the job. I would be interested in shipping the stripped frame to someone that can do the work if anyone out there is interested. If anyone is interested you can get a hold of me at telewoodski at yahoo dot com.

Hals HD will do it. Call Hals and ask for Terry in the performance shop.
