Blue is for the Firebolt, the red is for the Lightning...

No, there aren't any other colors from the factory.

Thanks, i figured that was the case but had to ask. i wont change any of them just yet except to pull off the firebolt stickers on the fairing and tail. at some point i think ill replace them all with natural finish or black carbon.

No luck with a "Brain Vault" search. Do you dye them just like a T-Shirt? Boiling water? Warped Plastic?

I used Rit Dye. I used 3 bottles of Scarlet and 3 boxes of the Scarlet powder (rit dye). I also had a box of the black rit dye powder and added the black a little at a time until it was an extremely dark red. I didn't use all of the black dye, actually didn't use that much at all. I might have used a tablespoon. Wish I had measured it. : ( I boiled the water first and used a big enough container to dip the pieces in. You have to keep them submerged for about 30 - 40 minutes. It took a while to fill it up, but it worked. : ) I am replacing the Buell American Motorcycle stickers because where the originals were (I took them off), it is darker.

Mine started out as red. I used blue and black liquid Rit dye. Huge mess and very time consuming unless you have a huge, metal container big enough to dip all of your pieces in. I like it and think it turned out cool. Different at the very least. Wife says it looks like baby poop brown. Others say it looks like Dr. Pepper. There is definitely no other bike like it that's for sure.
