I finally finished up my Jardine install over the weekend. This pipe sounds amazing! At idle it has a deeper, fuller thump that almost sounds like a Duc. But once the throttle is open this thing comes to life! Loud, but in a very good way. Passed a few harley riders and they turned and looked in awe. If the D&D is much louder than this then there is no way I'd run it, it'd be too much for commuting. It makes a few little pops on hard decel. but they sort of add to the character in a way, but I heard they will go away once the race ecm is added.

My bike (XB12) did lose a little bit of power below 3000, but it absolutely hauls the balls after that. I mean first gear roll-ons will bring the front end up so fast and smooth you don't even realize it. Second gear brings it right back up. It would never do this before, I would have to chop the throttle to get it up.

I couldn't be more impressed for the money that this pipe costs. BY FAR the best bang-for-buck out there. I ripped the rubber piece that goes inside the muffler strap and Jardine sent me a new one for free! A+ for customer service.

I have a K&N coming and will order a race ecm from Dave @ Appleton so I hope it run even better!

Jardine makes great pipes! Great power,
good price(i paid $215 for mine), and the best warranty in the business.

When you get the Race ECM you`ll get the power you lost below 3000rpms back and it`ll still pull like a monster and rev superfast from 3000 to redline!

Enjoy!

Soon I will have a premapped ECM for you!
Look at my other thread.
We didn't get a chance to try the Jardine but I will.

Just got the Direct Link, has Jardine, Buell Race Filter, stock ecu and air box mods. 94 hp and 80 ft/lbs of torque.
It rides much better, zero decell popping, and much smoother low rpm roll on. 2200 miles so far, 2000 with the Jardine and no tuning and it ran pretty good, first pass before tuning had 90 hp. Awesome bang for the $$$!

So, did they ever get the mounting bracket issues worked out? I bought a Jardine with the "new, improved non cracking" mounts and several hundred miles later found them cracked. Dealer didn't want to take the can back, so gave me new brackets. Few hundred miles later and same thing happened. This time, found that Jardine had halted sales of Buell cans for some "unknown" reason, and after some heated phone calls, eventually got Jardine to buy my can back. Wish they would have paid for a new chin fairing that was melted when the collector dropped onto it due to the broken brackets... IMO, I tried to save $$ by going with Jardine, and it ended up biting me in the a$$. You couldn't give me another... Also hated the annoyingly excessive popping on decel. Anyway, ended up going with a Drummer (which is what I wanted in the first place, but didn't want to spend the $$). I do understand that they work for some -- just not me. No need to flame my post -- just my personal opinion and it shouldn't influence yours.

I`ve got over 10,000 miles with mine. Never had a problem with the brackets or anything else with it. You can still buy them in Alum or Ti.

After i installed it, mine felt like a lost alittle power below 2500, but from 3000rpms to redline pulls harder that any other pipe on XB`s that i`ve tried.

It did pop on decel and its was annoying, but thats sign your bike isn`t tuned right. So i got it tuned which elimated the popping and got me the lowend power back that i lost. Now it doesn`t even sound like a Buell, it has a super deep sound more like a Ducati.

I liked the Drummer too, put for me $400 and i supply the pipe is crazy. The Odie pipe is just as good if not better for $250.

I got my Jardine for $215 shipped and still have the Stock can. Which i`ve had to put back on several times for for Warranty work that would have been denied with an aftermarket pipe.

The only negative about the Jardine is you can`t jack it up.

Where are you guys getting the Jardine for $215 shipped?

Anybody have problems with the rivets loosening or the packing burning out and having to repack?

Schmitty I'm in the process of getting a new pipe from Jardine because of the rivets pulling through the can. The guy at Jardine said the it happens when the packing burns out and the pipe starts to run really hot. My bike does run lean because of the air box eliminator and pipe without changing the ECM, so what he was saying makes sense. I only got 4,000 miles out of mine before it came apart. I will admitt that I'm extremely hard on my machine though. I only got 7k out of my stock 04 belt too.

$250 shipped was the cheapest I found, Jardine had a price increase for '06.
