Metaphorical use of the word fastidious is not improper. And I did mention improper usage is not cogent to the post either. If one could as fastidiously clean one's a$$ as effectively as one spells, it won't mean a thing if you don't wear your helmet!
If I ever have an EMT help me I won't give a spelling test first, thank you!

Would that be a metophorical cleaning? I am fastidious about that. My A$$ is the interface for me and my scooter.

Trust me, more than half of IBM can't spell corporate homologation. Some brain child in Way Upper Management came up with the brilliant idea of abbreviating it to CORP HOMO. Lucky for him/her, someone without a complete lobotomy saw it before it became corporate policy. I'm not too worried that the firefighter who may be saving my azz one day has a problem with his homonyms.
I do have a problem with pompous putz's denigrating someone who made a choice in his/her life to be paid significantly less than some golden spooned general education graduate with a title on the door because he/she puts your life ahead of his/her own. That was a run on sentence. I recognized that. |
