Thanks for the fee info Blake. You should consider posting it on an info page somewhere.

It is always an uneasy time in the transition from hobby to business. Blake always comes out looking like the bad guy but there is no other mechanism for "casual merchant". You're either in business or not.
We've seen it many times on this board, hope this turns out great and provides more choice for my accessory dollars.

I hate and love EBAY. They do treat their customers like s... but for certain items, it is the best distribution out there.

For cars, alas, it is a waste of time for most sellers.

No offense James, but maybe you just like to be on the "edge"?

How's that DevilTube working out?

Again, please don't take offense... I've got no interest in losing the chance to ride with any of the local Buellers : ).

In any case, Ebay is not as attractive of a choice as the BadWeb. Especially if your product works. I could see selling something that proved to not work (and therefore be mostly un-sellable through the badweb) through Ebay, but if one sponsors the BadWeb (which IS a bargain... Worldwide exposure for $50 a MONTH...) they'll most certainly see a better bottom line.

Blake's right though, Odie does indeed stand on the fence. He only leans towards the wrong side occasionally. But you know what? That's EXACTLY why when I was looking for exhaust solutions I didn't even consider him...

Call me a zealot : ).

HEy Blake,
$600.00 a year How cheap is that, like 50.00 bucks a month if paid in advance, Man thats too cheap, And I wd. say that $600.00 bucks is a tax right off at that etc.etc.If one can`t make those payments, perhaps they should keep their day time JOB what ever that may be..!

Just to beat on the ebay thing again- I save a lot of money buying cheap stuff there, but I would never have gone looking for a Mueller Power Clutch there. Here is where I found out the thing existed, got a dozen positive reviews, and as soon as I can scrape enuf coins out of my couch, I'll be calling Al.
Sponsors are a "feature", I give 'em my business 'cuz they come here and give me knowledge. Thanks, advice-givers and sponsors alike. -NadZ

All sponsorship fees must be paid up front, including the $600. We do prorate the $600 for the calendar year but not to less than $300.

To Odie's just credit, he retroactively did right by BadWeB following his initial online marketing efforts for the Special OPS pipe. He then suffered in silence waiting for SMHD to officially come online.

If you want to purchase a Special OPS pipe, call the folks at SMHD (see "Sponsors" topic). : )

Breaking news. Just checked my email. Odie has agreed to take the plunge. Starting in July, he'll come on-board as a sponsor.

He has lots to do before then.

That's the best news I've heard all week.

I wish you much success Odie.
