One of my low beam bulb was out at the beginning of my ride today. Later on, 80 miles from home, we stopped to take a break. When I went to start the bike nothing! Well after a couple of attempts to jump start it, I got it going and drove home. What I found was the 15 amp headlight fuse was blown. Long story short was the bulb had a direct short inside the bulb. replace fuse and bulb, bike started right up. The one on the right is the dead short one.

Had that happen to me 60 miles from home. It was a long wait for a long flatbed ride. Took me a bit to locate fault. All ways an education. |
