I have a question about my new to me 08 buell 1125r. I bought and installed a ebr race ecm, and then decided to get a barkers exhaust about a month later. I know, should have done both at the same time.... I asked ebr if I could ride up to them and get a reflash but they said they couldn't do it while I wait. I still have the stock ecm, and would like to know if its possible to copy the race map off of the ebr ECM and put it on the stock ecm, so I can then mail the race one back for a reflash. I know the bike is running a bit lean with the race ecm since i put the barkers and k&n on, and would rather not run the stock map if possible( thing ran terrible with stock ecm before)I have a ecmspy cable, but never tried playing with the maps at all.

Take your bike to a dealer with the OEM ECM in it and get the latest flash loaded.
The last maps Buell sent out were actually pretty good.

That should hold you while you wait for the race ECM to be re-mapped.

I have an early race ECM and a stock one, both run pretty smooth in town.
