Author Message   Xbniner Posted on Monday, April 29, 2013 - 04:40 pm:        I am almost finished with my stator/rotor fix and everything has gone well (largely due to help/resources from this forum) but I have one problem: I appear to have lost a piece of the wiring harness in the process. It is this plug at the top of the image: I'm not sure if I sent it away when I had my stator rewound or if I was just careless (which isn't like me, but possible) Does anybody have a part number for this? I checked my manuals but couldn't find it. If you find the rubber seal or can buy it at the dealer - (I dunno if it has a p/n or is part of the stator assy).Books are at work... Use some liquid dish soap for lube - the seal will slide very easily then so you can get it in place. Do NOT use WD-40. Great/magic stuff but wrong application. The rubber part you are referring to is part of the stator's wiring and apparently is not a separate part in the parts book (2009). When you removed the stator did you cut the wires or remove the pins from the connector at the end of the stator wires and pull the wires through the wire harness support guide? Regardless, like Zac says, I'd check with the guy that rewound your stator. Maybe he'll remember what it had when he took it apart.   Xbniner Posted on Tuesday, May 07, 2013 - 01:34 pm:        Update: I found it. Apparently I left it on the wires when pulling them thru the frame (I cut them at the stator.) It was crammed into that channel but I was able to extract it with a wire. Which is good news, as I am confident you can't just buy this piece. Thanks for your help everyone!
