I'm moving to Ontario, CA next month and am shipping my bikes. Shortly after arrival I will take my 1125R in to get some work done (detailed in this thread).

I need your recommendations of which shop in the area is best to trust my bike to.

Thanks in advance!

Glendale H-D/Buell is about 20 miles to the west.
They used to be a sponsor and I've never heard a bad report about them.

To be sure, I'd call Al or Joanne at American Sport Bike and ask.

Bartels' H-D/B in Marina Del Rey has a dedicated Buell mechanic, Mitsu, who also exclusively wrenches on their sponsored race bikes.

I always ask Svc Asst Mgr Kirk for him when servicing my S1 and 1125R.

Wow, I thought Mitsu was at Glendale.
If you can get Mitsu to work on your 1125, you'll have the BEST 1125 mechanic in the world.

Then it's settled; I will have Mitsu do the work.

Thank you all!

I'm in Ontario now; we're about 2/3rds unpacked.

My bikes will be delivered tomorrow via the shipping company (MotorcycleShippers.com).

I called and talked with Daniel at Bartel's HD in Marina Del Rey a couple weeks ago who confirmed that Mitsu does work there, but advised that he's booked out for 1 month working on the race bikes. He said he'd call when Mitsu became available.

I don't really feel like waiting, so I just called Glendale H-D/Buell and got an appointment for Thursday.

Welcome to So Cal. When you get all set up, check out a couple of groups on meetup, SCAB and So Cal Sport Twins. I would also advise to not use the service dept at Skip Fordyce in riverside. However they can be good for parts. Just ask for Julie and she will take care of you.
