I recently looked at the rotor upgrade I bought last fall and was pretty disappointed. There are some parts of it with heat marks, the epoxy looks extremely brittle. I wouldn't purchase this if I saw it first. I'm going to take mine to work next week and set up a machine to perform this operation. My rotor is in much better shape. I guess ill leave this on the shelf for an emergency. What a waste of money.

I highly doubt EBR would have shipped anything of questionable functionality.
EBR doesn't drill/machine the hole, it's done via wire-EDM.

I've replaced 2 rotors with EBR modified ones, both looked beautiful.

don't know why you would worry as long as it functions as it should do....you dont see the part anyway.
