As I watch the snow pile up here in northern Alberta I reluctantly relegate the bikes to the back of the garage and the snowblower to the front.

once again I have fallen short of my goal of 10,000 miles (real miles not Kilometers)for the summer ending up at around 8,500.

I had 3 good trips though on 3 different bikes and as always the CR is my favorite

trip one was to the WSBK races in SLC on the Vrod, just me and the snowplows at high elevation in Montana.from there to Colorado to visit family and pick up a new Triumph Sprint GT which I promptly rode home via Yellowstone etc...

Trip 2 was my daughter and I on the Triumph riding to Iowa to visit relatives, the Triumph is a great 2-up bike with lots of storage. Not 100% sold on that fairing thing though. might have to take the windscreen off or something.

finally I get the CR out for a trip to Vancouver island across southern BC and returning across Washington via highway 20 (1 of my favorite roads ever) with some nice side road excursions thanks to the folks at destination highways and their excellent motorcycle maps/books.

Curvy Pavement + 1125CR = Happy, Happy , Happy.

I recommend the destination highways books to anyone riding the BC, Washington state and Northern California area's,

those of you able to ride year round, enjoy it.

us snowbound riders will see you out on some remote curve filled highway next spring

The temp last night was crazy low. Must have been in the 40's. Chilly high today of just under 70. For what it is worth, nobody makes money selling snowblowers in San Antonio... ; )
