Looks like the little "bolt" that holds my rear brake pedal to the caliper (the swing arm point I guess it would be called) went for a walk somewhere. Guess the cotter pin broke on it. Anyways, anyone know where I could find a replacement? |

You mean where the pedal connects to the master cylinder, not caliper, correct? |

it's a clevis pin- most likely metric ( 6mm dia x ??long ( Im guessing 13mm long) a 1/4" dia pin ( 1/2" long) might fit - a industrial hardware store might have a replacement...a 1/4" bolt with a lock nut might serve as a temporary fix. a) most rice burners use a similar set up - might try a large bike shop for a similar part b) McMaster-Carr ( but you gotta buy 5 pcs - no metric sizes) http://www.mcmaster.com/#clevis-pins/=jh2c23 c) HD Shop |

I use an m6 bolt with a backing nyloc nut on the other side. I need to look at mine, but I think I also put a little spacer on the M6 and drilled the control to 8mm so I can tighten the nut down tight but the lever has something to pivot on. Make sense? The OEM piece is loose and rattles, anyway. Always drove me totally nuts. |

Ryan - what you got plugged into your Drummer? How much longer are you gonna be in Germany? Z |

Zac, no longer in Germany. Got out and am now attending The Citadel for Electrical Engineering. I have the DB Killer installed on my Drummer to quiet it up just a bit. Takes off about 5DB. Thanks for the info folks. Was hoping to avoid having to go to HD for a new one. |
