Will that work with the rear belt drive setup? It says for chain drive on the site. I was looking at that and maybe the rear Wave rotor as alternative (which at least i know fits). Good looking and lighter. BUT i also don't race, so unsure if it's apples to apples. I know the front Wave is not track/race friendly. |

The EBR part works fine with belt drive, but you won't be easily able to drop the rear caliper in order to remove the wheel. If you use the "lift and twist" motion, it works fine -- just leave the caliper attached. I chamfer my rear brake pads so it's easy to slide the rear wheel assembly in and out. I'm not familiar with the front wave rotor. I know there was one available for a while which had a lot of the rotor material removed. It wouldn't be good for someone at a higher skill level on the brakes, since it would overheat easily. But, I wouldn't worry about it for a "street pace" track day rider. For me, the EBR parts really are the gold standard most of the time. They work, and you don't worry about it. |

I'm not really looking for the weight savings, it's a need for the chain setup. |

The chain drive rear rotor is a cut down belt drive unit. In a pinch a person could have one made from a stock unit |
