If I order the modded stator rotor and mail mine out how long does it take to receive it, how long does it take to get your core money back, and does it require special tool to remove rotor?

Thanks,

You order the modded rotor, they deliver it to you, you remove & replace the rotor, you send your old rotor to them, you receive the core charge when they receive your old rotor.

The delivery times depend on how much you want to pay to set up both UPS deliveries: ground, 2 or 3-day air or overnight.

R&Ring the rotor needs a Crankshaft Locking tool, a new Rotor Nut, a deep socket for the nut, a torque wrench capable of 300 lbs and possibly an Ignition Cover Gasket.

"does it come with the gear or not??"
No.

"Where do I get the rotor nut and locking tool?"
If EBR is out of stock, try your friendly and knowledgeable H-D/B shop.

So I called H/D dealer and it's on order for $33, which is odd since ebr shows it (out of stock) for )17. But the point I want to make us that the H\D parts guy was a douche bag! He acted like I'd asked him to make me one from scratch, kept sighing and condescending me. I said "I need the nut that holds the stator rotor on" he:"the one that mounts on the crank", me:"yeah", he:"so the flywheel nut?" me:"sure, I guess that's what it's called, I've only seen it referred to as rotor nut", he:"well you better figure it out before you F**** it up buddy."

Hm, great customer service fellas.

Par for the course for Harley dealers : )

I don't know what dealers are out your way, but you will quickly learn the ones that want your business and the ones that don't.

Friend of mine was a parts guy at a HD shop for awhile, but he was a closeted (at work) BMW air-head guy. He got a job at a BMW shop finally. He said the he couldn't stand having to call everyone "Bro" anymore.

Sorry for the thread jack. You may resume.

A.D. Farrow north of Columbus Ohio... Boast to be oldest Harley dealer in US, very big with three locations. I understand if the parts guys resent buell calls but misdirected when you vent it at the customer.

There is a tiny hole near the hub of the rotor.
That hole sprays oil on your stator, keeping it cooler and functional longer.

Not just any hole, but a precision wire-EDM machine-job.

It's a good thing

As far as Buell prices, my local shop is usually 10-30% OVER MSRP.
Buy from Al at American Sport Bike or EBR.

great luck buying here, just watch the shipping. I needed a $10 decal and it was $15 shipping, so I added a $145 drivebelt and the shipping was only $19
