Those look nicely designed, i see 3 steeps which i what i did one mine. I have seen a few that butt up against the fork.

Did you drill them so there is a way to loosen and tighten them?
$95 seems fair to me if you don't have the resources to make your own.
That's a funny lookin CR

Thanks Bob! Yeah, there's a hole that's used to tightened them down.

The last pic IS a CR but I'm not sure how Froggy knew that? Sharp eye man! ; )

Frank's deranged. : )
I still can't see how... D'oh the belt s/n...

Welcome as a sponsor, they look nice.
I have a pair that Keith made when he had Dark Horse. Al sells them now.
Got some 1.5" - T6061 and I'm going to see if my little bench lathe can make a copy set for the Uly.

I counted the teeth on the sprocket...

(Actually, it was the pinstripe wheel that gave it away, but memorizing the belt part numbers for every Buell ever sure helped)

Not to hijack this thread, those are very nice looking sliders.

I have always been looking for something a bit more comprehensive in terms of crash protection... something like these Pelacrash units:

but something made locally and designed to avoid potentially damaging the engine/mounts.

Just thought I'd throw that out there since the OP is clearly capable of pulling something like this off. : )

Anywho, I want these things for some Moto Gymkhana (Battletrax-like) practice I have in mind...

Zac, 6061 cuts like butter. Use a nice sharp tool and your little bench lathe shouldn't have any problem. I've got 1800lbs of it on a skid waiting to be machined right now : )
On the sliders I have made I wanted a really clean install, so I machined one of the sliders with a hexagon that fits inside the hex in the axle, then just used a strap wrench to tighten opposite slider. Looks really slick, at least until I forgot to tell the shop how to get them off (they didn't realize one side wouldn't turn). It looks like they used a vise-grip lol. I told guy just pull them off by whatever means necessary, I can make more in no time.

Musclecargod ~ clever hex idea, a bit too tricky for the average joe I guess.

Clarification...All of our axle slider pricing is for a complete front & rear set (aside for our BMW offerings). In this case, only the rear is slotted. Thanks!
