Hey folks, got bad news. I had an accident last Saturday. A woman ignored my right of way and i crashed in her car. I had no time to react. I got carried away by the ambulance. My 1125 is a total loss, frame and suspension fork are broken. But i can be happy that i'm alive, i could be dead. Hope you have a riding season without any trouble! Greetings from Germany  | ||

No broken bones, no internal injury. Whole body hurts now, many bruises. Next week going to nuclear magnetic resonance imaging. I'm very happy to be alive. | ||

The bike does look a bit askew. Hope you look better. Heal well, heal fast. A friend has a smaller motor in his 2-seat helicopter.  A project to keep you busy while you recoup... Z | ||

You must have been wearing decent gear Usas! And some good fortune. The bruises will hurt for a LONG time. Good that no bones are broken, I hope the MRI doesn't turn up any torn ligiments other serious soft tissue damage. | ||

It's been more than a year since my accident, and I still have visible bruises that I can feel... they take a long time to heal (but do hurt a lot less after a month or two). | ||

I'm still suffering from my bruises, it's unbelievable. My 1125R is sold, it was too expensive to rebuild the bike. But i already got a new one. I bought a brand new Suzuki B King. Very nice muscle bike which will get some modifications (like exhaust etc.). Expected arrival will be the beginning of the next week. My father will bring her home. I'll post some pictures when she arrived. | ||

That's quite an...understanding father. Mine was ready to finish the job and have me put to sleep when he became aware of my interest in doing it yet again. The Darwin award manufacturing company is also a little mad I keep rejecting my award. | ||

"A friend has a smaller motor in his 2-seat helicopter. ; ) A project to keep you busy while you recoup... Z" I don't think the 1125 motor would be good for a helicopter. Imagine having a stator failure while in the air. You would have to have a good stator solution in place. | ||

The motor was a Rotax 750cc in his helo. On a helo, might be able to use a D&D pipe..  (Message edited by zac4mac on June 07, 2012) | ||
