I don't think the Helicon engine has a "mid-pipe" that is separate.

Dre,
You can buy all the parts you need to build the mid pipe. IIRC I bought the collector at coneeng.com for $30. Mandrel bends either from cone or off eBay but seems to me that there were in the $20-30 range per bend. Stainless band clamps off eBay for maybe $10. Abrasive blade for my power miter was may $10 from Home Depot (sure makes a mess of a perfectly good saw...) Throw in $5-10 per expansion for the local muffler shop to create the slip fit for the header - that is if they are even willing to mess with stainless. At a minimum add in a case of beer and shipping cost to send it to a buddy who knows the business end of a tig torch. If not plan to spend some coin to have a pro weld it up.

So not trying to send you mixed messages, but it can be done depending on how much you can do yourself, how many favors you can pull from friends, and how much you have to outsource.

Yeah i know I was gonna try and make one my self.... When i saw that dan had like 30 of them lol i got excited, but too bad he is not selling them

I got a set of mufflers from my old ducati that would sound sweet on the 1125

I guess ill have to venture of on my own and make the pips my self..

Thx for the info s21125r

Those are 2.5" outlet pipes, not many people make them this way for 1125's. I'm thinking it's just me and Alan.
Nobody else's pipe is going to fit, such as jardine, fmf or d&d. It's going to require some fabrication skills that most guys simply don't have. It's a little like racing, some guys can do it, some guys can't. Eslick races, I don't. I doubt he welds much though.

Dean(Adams) has it absolutely right with the larger mid pipe (collector), if you will. There is a need to keep velocity high exiting the heads but then a large collector and muffler size to scavenge properly. AND why his systems makes very good H.P. Cudos to Dean and his company for building very well made, good looking and great H.P. systems, all of them.
